The Pianist: Seasoned jazz and classical pianist with decades of experience on hundreds of recordings and live stages worldwide.
The Piano: A fully restored 1917 Steinway D Concert Grand (Hamburg build) – a rare masterpiece, expertly rebuilt by Luis Cajas of Cantabile Pianos. For rodes, organs, clav, synth, and orchestral sounds, recordings are done using my extensive soft-synth and virtual instrument libray, with Nord Piano 5 as controller
The Studio: Acoustically treated and optimized for the Steinway D, featuring state-of-the-art microphones to capture every nuance. Mics include a pair of Flea 49's, (the most revered vintage replica of the Neumann M49's), and a pair of AKG 414's.
